Digital Tricks LLC (EST. 2015) is a production company created by John Pick.
He produced comedic videos for a long time and also interactive community events and theater, then some television.
Credits include Conan, Funny or Die, TruTV, CBS, the Ojai Playwrights Conference, the Actors' Gang, Chicago Public Radio, Joe's Pub (Public Theater), South Coast Repertory, Steppenwolf, ESPN, McDonald's, Lululemon and BuzzFeed. He taught storytelling in the LA schools for seven years, and worked as a director and reader at the Ojai Playwrights Conference. He was Artistic Director of the Smith and Martin Company and producer of Tape: A Play in a Motel Room (Critics' Pick, LA Times), Bald Soprano and The Conquest of the South Pole. His work was nominated for Best Webseries by the LA Weekly and he won the David Mamet Video prize. He's a Producer on Monty Python's Spamalot. He is also the editor of The People Are the News, a book of his father's journalism published by Northwestern University Press. He went to Kenyon College, where he was a History and Spanish major and trained at UCLA and Steppenwolf.
